YOU STILL HAVE TIME to be involved with the church Easter Musical, “What a Celebration” on April 18, 2010 at 3:30 pm. Practices are Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the music room. Saturday morning practices are from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 27, April 3, 10, and 17th. Prayerfully consider becoming involved in this important ministry. Sunday School – 9:40 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

2nd Service – 10:40 a.m.

Communion will be observed at both services.

CHURCH MOVIE NIGHT – Mercy Community Crisis Pregnancy Center is hosting a film entitled “Sarah’s Choice.” It will be featured at Mohn’s Hill EC Church on Sunday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. for a free-will offering to benefit Mercy CCPC. Additional DVD’s will be available for purchase. 

MERCY COMMUNITY CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER is having their 19th Annual Fellowship Dinner on April 9th at Glad Tidings A.O.G. beginning at 6 p.m. The guest speaker is Berks Country Commissioner Christian Y. Leinbach. RSVP by March 24, 2010 to 610.369.8813 or bp4life88@dejazzd.com. 

LA ROCA CHURCH IS INVITING everyone to a service of thanking and praising God for His blessing during the past 5 years on March 28, at 1 p.m. After the service some “bocadillos” (finger food, snacks, refreshments) will be served. Talk to Mary Alice Middleton if you plan to attend.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS today in the nursery room. The nurses will be available every second Sunday of the month to take blood pressures.

GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2010 – The sanctuary will be open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for prayer. At 3 p.m., St. James will be showing the film, “The Passion of the Christ.” It will last approximately 2 hours. Then from 5 to 6 p.m. light refreshments will be available. The Discipleship Class had its first meeting this morning at 9:15 a.m. Growing Stronger in God’s Family is the first book of three in The 2:7 Series. Chaplain Schaun Myers and Pastor Craig will teach this class.

Church Keys: Please return church keys that are not needed or being used. It is expensive to have additional keys made. Therefore, there will now be a $5 deposit for any key that is given out.

Our Lenten Study is every Wednesday night through March 24th beginning with a light supper of soup and sandwiches. Following the supper is a time of worship and the Lenten study entitled 40 Days of Love. There is a program for the children which is led by Ann Lilley-Walsh. Do you shop or purchase gas at Giant Food Store? If so, Women of Excellence (W.O.E.) has a great opportunity for you to help support its ministry. You can now purchase gift cards from the church office. Gift cards are available in $25, $50, and $100 denominations. So instead of using cash or check to pay for your groceries, you would use the gift card instead. Women of Excellence will receive 5% profit for all gift cards sold.

Christian Ed Meeting is scheduled for March 14th following the worship service. The meeting will be held in the Ladies’ Sunday School room. Please attend there are important topics to discuss.
